Do I recently did a tier list for the Batman movies, so I thought I could do one for the villains
In S tier we have the Jack Nicholson joker and the Heath ledger joker. I don’t think I need to explain why these are in s tier. The other two are the penguin. This version of the penguin is not accurate to the comic book version which is good. In this version the penguin is abandoned by his parents in the sewers when he was a baby due to his birth defect making the last three fingers on his hand a flipper like thing. His personality is way more interesting as instead of being a typical mob leader, he’s a freak who is violent and makes sexual comments about every girl he sees. Tim Burton made a way more interesting version of the penguin. Also in s tier is catwoman. Tim Burton also made this uninteresting villain into a way more compelling character.
In A tier I have bane from the dark knight rises. I love this version of bane as it is actually very accurate to the source material. I also have two face from The dark knight. Then I have a villain that only appeared in a movie: Max Shreck from Batman returns. This one is very interesting and I wish that he was adapted into the comics.
Then in the lowest teir are the schumacher Villians. I hate these villains with a passion as they dumb down the movies following the backlash that Batman returns got for being to ‘dark’. So they make these villians way more campy and it ruins any sort of interesting stuff they used to had.
